He took it to the place where he bought it and they pulled the plugs, said they put a camera inside and they claim the motor sucked a valve. The bike has 22,000 mi. and looks very well taken care of.I've been having trouble getting the carburetor dialed in on my Vulcan 800. At this point, I'm not sure if my thoughts were correct, or if something else is causing the problem. It's a '99 VN800A with Cobra exhaust. Most bikes would be about 15V at 5000 rpm, but you need to find the specs for your bike. It could be that the meter is off, though. You might want to check the voltage and the connection points with a multimeter to compare.
