The legacy doesn't even show any visible sign or warning light that the trunk is even open till I hit a bump hard enough. This relay won't just pop in your gen 7 fuse block, pin layout is different. I have no personal experience with this relay, I know it exists but don't recall ever using one. So you would need to get the relay, p/n 19119267, connector 12126045 or ACDelco number PT676. Feed your wires and switch through. Push the switch in to place, it should click and be flush.
