Hi, I am a rising senior and on my April SAT I scored a 1510 (770 M, 740 R&W). Before that, on my first test, I scored a 1410 (doesn't make a higher superscore). I was pretty ecstatic with my 1510, and I definitely do feel like it has opened a lot of doors. However, do you guys think I should try to retake for a higher score and/or superscore?1530 is right on the border for maybe three or four schools - MIT, Caltech, Chicago, Harvey Mudd. From memory, Chicago/Mudd are 1530, MIT ~1540, Caltech 1550. Anywhere else it’s more than enough as it’s above the average admitted student. And even for these four, I’d only retake if you truly think you will improve and have the time available.
