Wintertusk has nearly the exact same damage as ww, but lower in resistance. But you said you struggle with survivability so I'm not quite sure whether you should use wintertusk or not. I usually just craft the wintertusk gear and do waterworks 1-2 times for the XP and I usually get at least the hat or robe, but I think it's worth it to get the full set or 2/3 with professors boots. I’ve had decent luck with zigzag, and I preferred it on my fire and storm. Boots are either ww/prof hoard pack.

For your level, there is not really a lot of good decks that the best to go for but house of scales has that 1 accuracy deck, wait till 70 for Poseidon dungeon the sand squid drops that fire giant deck that's pretty good. Either way I use a deck that has lots of death copies. But for death set up I would just tank through and let the hitter hit.
