Had a 1 night family stay at this hostel. Location was perfect, close to all the sites of the Burren and a few hundred metres away from the town. Safe footpath to walk to restaurants in a few minutes. Ample parking. Family room was very clean and we all slept well. Ensuite bathroom was dated, yes, but clean and perfectly adequate.Good location for touring the Burren National Park, and for visiting the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. Our room was clean and comfortable but very small, and the bathroom (with walk-in shower) was extremely small. Our room was at the front of the hotel, overlooking the main road.

Walking and Hiking. You are free to hike and walk in the park. We recommend you wear strong shoes or boots. There are seven way-marked walking trails in the Burren National Park and Slieve Carran Nature Reserve, in addition to a Green Road. The walks vary from a short 30-minute loop walk to a three-hour walk over limestone hills.
