Cadillac cue not working.

I have an Android phone. When I press the "Pandora" app on the CUE system, its says "no internet connection" or something similar. I called the CUE support number and they told me to change the media to "Bluetooth" and use the app on the phone. They said that is how it is suppose to work. They said the Pandora icon doesn't do …But, I noticed that the door seems to open when my finger tips are warmer vs cooler. I guess I could use touch sensitive. However, the device has to be able to detect the touch. I suspect some inanimate objects may not work.
