Hi, I am looking for a new 2 channel setup, after testing Musical Fidelity and Classe and decided to look at Mcintosh. Does this configuration match or suit: C2200 pre or C46 pre MCD201 CD MC252 amp For a pair of B&W 803D speakers? I believe the C2200 would provide better sonics...the mc500 has the best bass response out of any other mcintosh amplifier that ive ever owned & is much like the bass response from the older model class a krell amps,there is very little difference between the mc500 & the mc1201 monoblocks in overall sound & dynamics.The McIntosh MC152 stereo amplifier delivers 150 Watts of power into two channels at 2, 4 or 8 Ohms.
