After field stripping and cleaning the new Micro, I went to the range yesterday; only put about 30 rounds through it but had two issues. First, if I load 7 rounds in the magazine, when I release the slide ...Looks very similar to my 1911. Push the firing pin in from the back and slide the lock plate down. Be careful when removing the lock plate that you don't launch the pin. Not sure how strong that spring is. That is the way to remove the firing pin from the Micro 9.
