I chose it over the Micro 9, because the Kimber was more expensive than the SIG, I'm a lefty, and I didn't want to spend another $150 to have an ambi fitted to the Kimber model that I wanted. The Kimber has an internal extractor, the SIG's is external.Generally speaking, we would recommend the Kimber. The trigger is smoother, and it is less expensive. It is equally reliable, has similar sights and grips, and the difference in size is pretty much negligible in our opinion.
