People saying a 1mz will pop at 7 psi are probably refering to the trd (piece of crap) supercharger that blows nothing but hot air past 6 psi, that will pop an engine fast. I don't know what that charger puts out at 10psi on a 1mz but it should be able to hold 300bhp, the tranny is the real issue unless you get a shift kit.

My 1mz with boost at 6psi makes 170kw atw and that's from a manual too. Dynoing 3 different 1mz at 4psi, they made 149-155kw atw. An auto with 4psi boost made 136kw atw. All the cars that I am talking about are all from brisbane.
