Though Browning hasn't done much with their A5 “Sweet Sixteen” beyond the one initial model, I do like it more than the 12s. Browning has ignored the 20 gauge with the A5 thus far. BANG FOR THE BUCK. I confess to feeling a bit sorry for generic inertia-gun makers, for most do the same thing with no benefit over the other.

A recoil spring for a browning auto-5 "light-12" is only about $16, and would likely solve your problems, although a mag-12 like you own is one of the worst you could get for shooting skeet or sporting clays anyway. I talked to Art ages ago when I picked up a shooter grade 16 from the 30's. He said that to properly convert a 2 9/16" gun to 2 3/4" is more expensive than most of them are worth. If you had a high grade 2 9/16" gun, the conversion would wreck the value. Converting just the barrel is possible, but I wouldn't.AFAIK you're right in that Invector+ barrels are overbore and Invector not. Can't say anything about it making much difference outside the theoretical realm, but overbore barrels can cause problems with fibre wads, be aware of that.
