Gt4 allocation.

Hi guys, I've putted my deposit for a GT4 on May 2021. Until now I haven't received an allocation! For how long do you think I'll wait for the allocation? And after the allocation how long it takes for the delivery?I've been posting over on the GTS board about a possibly ordering a new GTS (dealer has Oct. allocation available, though I wouldd likely go PTS which would put me into 2016 delivery) or get on his wait-list (5 people in front of me) for a GT4. He cannot guarantee me that I would ever get a GT4...Here is a pic of another GT4 at the event that had aftermarket parts to obtain more than factory max camber. ... LCAs. Same as GT3. Dealership 1 promised a "small" adjustment of around $5k "max" for a GTS and "up to" $10k for a GT4. Asked to have this in writing but couldn't get it (no surprise why). The better part of a year later, D1 shows up with a GTS 4.0 allocation but wanted a $15k ADM, more than 3x what they originally suggested.

Several years ago, my pop threw down a deposit before the GT4RS was even officially announced. A few days ago, my pops got an allocation. The car comes with a hefty ADM, so I'm reaching out to anyone who has heard about what the markup after MSRP is like these days. The general thought in the Porsche community is that there will be no 2024 GT4. You can still grab a 2023 allocation if you are willing to pay $15k adm. Porsche is also out of PCCBs and bucket seats, so those can't currently be optioned. The all electric Cayman is coming out in 2025. A GT4 allocation seems to be hard to get, but I'm not so sure that it's harder to get a GTS allocation than a base or S one. What is true is you're more likely to pay additional dealer markup for a GTS than for one of the four cylinder cars. I was planning to pay cash, but after talking it over a bit, I just decided to pass and hang on to my GTS -- if a GT4 allocation does end up coming around, I'll grab one.
